Calgary Part 1

While in Calagary for Regionals, we never felt that incredible reason to celebrate that we felt at the championship state tournament game. We went there knowing we could go far. But, it just didn't happen.
I suppose many of us left a bit disappointed, but proud of our boys too.
Calgary was BEAUTIFUL. Driving through Banff National Park was gorgeous! Our hotel was so nice and very comfortable. The whole team stayed in the same hotel which was awesome. Memories made with the Dirt Brother's team and their families, that was a highlight for sure.
We, meaning the Jansens, stick pretty close to home. Camping trips in Eastern WA, ball tourney weekends and two trips to Lynden a year is pretty much what we take on. Vance enjoys the occasional trip to Alaska. I've been once in the past 5 years.
It was a big trip for us.

Oren loves HOME.
But he was a trooper! He had a blast!
Otter pops and double bubble at the ball games!
He hung out with the baseball team and all of the siblings. He had a great trip.

Go with the flow girl loved it there. She mentioned she could spend a whole summer in Calgary.

Willem and Collin have such a cool friendship. The Visker boys and the Jansen boys LOVE hanging out!

The WORLD's LONGEST luge!!! In Olympic Park! Calgary.
What a ride!!

This kid pitched like a champ.

#baseballlife

It has been a fewdays of fun reflection and we are having so much fun going through all of the photos.

Merit Henry Jansen is out of his head with excitement!
He loves baseball and loves this team.
The championship game was tied in the seventh inning.
It was a nail biter.
Kam pitched great! Merit came into close.
Our boys hit the ball and made great plays.
