Pull a weed, plant a seed, soak up the break... for my friends SUMMER comes once a year

Summer break
We'll make good use of it, I promise
We will breathe in the morning air and walk barefoot as the sun sets
We'll make memories with cousins and friends

Watch many baseball games
Take less baths and swim in more pools
We will kayak
Play restaurant
Weed the garden
Encourage a friend
Plant a seed

And when life is tricky and messy, work harder at FINDING the JOY

Country Kitchen, Summer Lovin'

 I love kittens!
And photographing them!

The Country Kitchen is open and the food is DElicious!

Baseball

As the days, months and years go by, it is remarkable what I learn from baseball.
And I don't play, I just watch.
Last weekend, there was a pickle from third to home and everybody was covering everybody. Our team fielding - The team work, support, intensity, awesome. Runner was out.

Often we learn more from losing than we do from winning.

A bad call, a bad play, a bad day doesn't discourage our love of baseball.

Today I am very thankful for the kids and the coaches.

These are the Days

Many days are spent at baseball fields
I soak up every moment, because when it is over oh how I will miss it.

 It started to sprinkle.
She grabbed her umbrella.
She really didn't want pictures... because Dora was a favorite when she was little - but not anymore.

Gathering and putting together flowers for Cole and Lyssa's BIG day!
Hazel loved doing this!

 SUMMER BREAK is HERE

Oren is calming this top of the pecking order hen so that we could complete a minor procedure.

This poor kitten saw me and Vance trying to clip chicken wings and was suddenly nervous about her foster parents.

Summer weather is HERE and we are loving it.

Weekend Highlights!
