I just found your beautiful blog in a very random way.
Creole Knifley Goode was my grandmother. Every once in a while I google her name to see if her book of poetry is available for sale by anyone online.
Your blog post from March7, 2010 came up this time with one of her poems. I was absolutely floored to see it here! It brought tears to my eyes to read it and to think about her words providing comfort to someone who lives so far away.
I am curious as to how you came upon it?
