Oren Paul, three weeks old

These are the days.

It is good to have all four of these kids home. Oren is a content baby, a very sweet guy, we are enjoying him so much.

I will admit, there are moments when it feels like there isn't quite enough of me to go around.

But man, Merit, Willem and Hazel are helping a lot.

Vance is very involved with Merit's busy baseball schedule, so that is good.

Willem may be having the toughest time "adjusting" to summer. I believe he is glad the break is here, but there are changes and adjustments. I think he misses his teacher and friends a bit too.

Both of the boys had an excellent school year with fantastic teachers and lots of good memories - sometimes it is tough to say goodbye to that.

Being able to run, play, swim and just BE outside has been really great.

I love having a new baby this time of year!

Life is good.

The whole family enjoyed camping and baseball in Wenatchee this past weekend!

Merit played great! The weather was beautiful. Oren slept well. It was fun!

Summer break is in full swing!

My goal for this week is to get a picture of all four kids together.

Oren:

• Is the BEST cuddler
• Calms me when he rests on my chest
• Is a sweetheart!

Hazel:

• Has such a kind heart
• Loves wearing skirts and dresses
• Pretends and imagines in such a creative, fun way!

Willem:

• Is our lego builder
• Already loves summer break
• Is really good at math and hula hooping!

Merit:

• Is a great helper
• Has a contagious laugh!
• Is playing some fantastic baseball

Oren is a night owl.

Oren's mother is not.

Other than my wishing for sleep in the late hours of the night, Oren Paul is content, adorable and a beautiful blessing --- and I am soaking this up!

It has been so much fun adding this little guy to our family. He enjoyed a weekend full of baseball last weekend. :)

And there is a lot more in his future.

I love having a spring baby. Oren is our first spring babe and oh it is so fun.

The sunshine outside makes me feel more awake and alert even while running on little sleep.
