Life with the Jansens

I kind of need to be here there and everywhere. Life is full. We just pray, prioritize and figure things out.
Merit played a double header against Davis yesterday - Yakima. (two wins!)
I wanted to go but decided to stay back.
Staying back meant some good things too.
Grocery shopping with Willem (thrifting too) - a hike - fresh air when there was a break from the rain!
So, next week Will has two games (his first two games of the season), Merit has three, Hazel plans to go horse back riding, Oren will be busy being a pre-schooler and exploring.
We have dentist appts, Merit has a physical therapy appt. I have a bunch of beautiful things to drop off at the FAVORED FARMHOUSE!

It's Friday!

Ohhh! Two or three mornings a week we have pancakes! Farm fresh eggs and blueberries make them extra tasty.

I am enjoying flowers so MUCH this spring.

I taught second grade yesterday morning and third grade yesterday afternoon. The comments, learning and silliness of those kid was JUST what I needed yesterday!

I woke up at 4:30 am with a terrible headache. It hurt to get up to take pain reliever.
It has threatened to slow me down all day but Oren and I won't have it.
Oh this kid!! I love him so!

the Kite Retrieval

Willem is always up for an adventure

Vance bought this huge, bright, awesome kite and it blew away within a few days of its arrival. Acrossed the creek there is tall grass that goes on for acres. We guessed the kite was gonner, knowing a search could go on a very long time, possibly without success. The level of the creek was raised a few days ago, so the hunt would also involve crossing the high creek.
