The last week of summer break was somewhat heavenly!

 Last Saturday night was lazy and dreamy.

ohhh! These summer days!! 

 J and K's "resort"  - my brother and sister in law have the best back yard!

And these three are back to school. So far, so great! 

Oren starts Tuesday!

My morning started out so sucky. 

I hate it when they do. 

But now, our three boys are playing some bat/ball game in the front yard that they love. It's like baseball but it is not and it has been named the "bat/ball game" Watching Hazel organize and re-organize her school supplies last night was a joy! 

Oren and Hazel both got letters in the mail from their to be teachers. I love it when teachers do this! 

My mind is cluttered and disorganized but I have chosen not to share this with my kids who usually have the best attitude about everything. 

And guess what... it is rubbing of on me. 

Happy Tuesday. 

For those of you who struggle with late August, I get it. 

For those of you who pour your energy and your hearts into making your classroom organized and welcoming, writing letters to your students, and starting the year off with positivity - thank you!  Moses Lake has some of the best teachers on the planet.

Willem's favorite jerky comes from Owen's meats in Cle Elum. Their steaks are amazing too. 

Willem told me he wants Owen's meats beef jerky for Christmas! :-)!

We did the Fair in Lynden too! It was fun!! 

I am home and a little overwhelmed. Oh my goodness. Registration, football sign ups (Willem), needing to schedule sports physicals and a little train of paper work. Considering too whether or not school insurance is worth it. The garden is so weedy and I have had a headache for 5 days. I do not want summer to be over.

Although we have a list of appointments and trainings for this week, I am really hoping for a day at the water park and/or Soap Lake! 

Gotta soak up the last bit of summer
